NOTICE OF WORKSHOP

Children’s Hospitals currently receiving CHGME funding expressed interest in participating in a Technical Assistance workshop on the “ABC of CHGME” and other relevant program guidance.

In-person technical assistance workshops will comprise of approximately a day and a half of training.  The topics covered during the workshop will include the ABCs of the CHGME Payment Program, including the CHGME application process and guidance, the web application process, the payment calculation process, and the annual report requirements.  The two most preferred locations that were identified by the representatives of children’s hospitals for a technical assistance workshop are the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and the west coast. To minimize the burden and cost, both trainings will be held in HRSA office buildings.  The Parklawn Building where HRSA Headquarters resides in Rockville, Maryland and the HRSA Regional office in San Francisco, California will be utilized for the workshops. 

Workshops are open to all interested parties, including current and potential CHGME grantees.  Interested participants should complete the registration form ( 66 KB) and fax it to (301) 443-1879 attention Anna Maria Padlan or e-mail a PDF copy to CHGME2@hrsa.gov. Please complete a separate registration form for each participant.  Participants will receive a confirmation notice, via e-mail, within 3 business days of faxing their registration form to the above number. 

Workshops will be cancelled if there are less than 10 participants registered.  Registrants will be contacted as soon as possible if the workshop is cancelled.
