Submit your 2008 On-Line Application
- Application deadline is June 6, 2008.
- On-line application must be submitted on-line by 5 pm ET June 6, 2008.
- Supplemental forms, available for download when you submit the on-line application, must be completed, printed, mailed and received at HRSA no later than June 6, 2008.

the Nursing Scholarship Program |
In
exchange for at least two years service
at a health care facility with a critical
shortage of nurses, the Nursing Scholarship
Program pays
- U.S.
citizens or nationals (permanent residents
are not eligible)
- enrolled
or accepted for enrollment as a full-time
or part-time student in an accredited
school of nursing in a professional
registered nurse program (baccalaureate,
graduate, associate degree, or diploma)
- begin classes for the Fall term on or after July 1 and no later than September 30
- free
from any Federal judgment liens
- free
from existing service commitments
- not
delinquent on a Federal debt

Preference
is given to qualified applicants with the
greatest financial need who are enrolled
full-time in an undergraduate nursing program.
We
estimate that 220 new qualified applicants
will be selected to receive the scholarship
in FY 2008 and that all will be from the
first funding preference group:
- have a zero Expected Family Contribution
(EFC) on the Student Aid Report from the Free Application for Federal
Student Assistance (FAFSA) and
- are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an undergraduate nursing program as full-time students
